## Introduction

The Context Store helps teams model services, systems, and relationships in one place so tooling and automation can use a shared source of truth.

In order to provide additional structure or utilise concepts in your graph that are not an inherent part of software metadata, you can use Context Groups.

For example, you may have a concepts group for `users`, `employees`, or some specific subset of `infrastructure` that are more broadly or narrowly defined that can be inferred from individual sources of truth.

This structured collection of data from the Data Store is then made available to agents via MCP servers.
