Backstage GitOps Clusters Projects Plugin

Create GitOps-managed Kubernetes clusters. Currently, it supports provisioning EKS clusters on GitHub via GitHub Actions.

Getting started is simple

Install the plugin into Backstage.

yarn add @backstage/plugin-gcp-projects

Add plugin to the list of plugins.

// packages/app/src/plugins.ts
export { plugin as GcpProjects } from '@backstage/plugin-gcp-projects';

Navigate to youdomain.com/gitops-clusters.

Backend

In order this plugin to work you must install backend plugin available: here.

You might also use ready-to-use Docker image: https://hub.docker.com/chanwit/gitops-api

To start using GitOps with Backstage and Docker, rung the following command:

$ docker run -d --init -p 3008:8080 chanwit/gitops-api

This plugin requires the backend to run on port 3008.
